Our New Zealand Road Trip- Part 1

18th July 2017

We took the trip Lee has always dreamed of. We went to New Zealand and watched The British and Ireland Lions Rugby team play The New Zealand All Blacks. The Lions is an all star team that gathers the best players and plays a southern hemisphere team every four years. He’s watched it since he was small. It was incredible to see how excited he was. I’m Welsh so I have a good foundation of rugby knowledge. I loved it too.

Don’t get me wrong, I have ALWAYS wanted to go to New Zealand so it was incredibly exciting. We drove (and by ‘we’ , I mean Lee) around the North island in a camper van …but stayed in lots of hotels too 🙂

We had a fantastic time and made some videos along the way:

Thanks for watching x

A Day in Hobbiton – New Zealand – Vlog

2nd July 2017

Guys, guys, guys !

We went to Hobbiton. I feel it is almost criminal to go to New Zealand and not go to the rolling hills of The Shire. We are massive nerds and we loved every bit of it. It was expensive (about $79 each) so maybe decide how much you  love the books/films before you go. It was beautiful there any felt like the Welsh hills of the UK.

Peter Jackson, we apologies for our rendition of your scenes.

Oh , by the way ….we went to New Zealand. More videos to follow. 🙂

Day Out Doodles – Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

28th May 2017

We’ve been trying lately to get out and about as much as possible. The travel bug has bitten us .

This weekend we decided we needed our ‘they’re so cute and fluffy’ fix. So we decided on Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

We saw so many pretty colours and animals (and I squeezed in a few weekend coffees…of course). Even though we have been in Australia for almost 2 years, I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of cute koalas, kangaroo’s and wombats.

The day was totally inspiring and had me itching to draw and edit.

This is still very much in the ‘I’m trying to learn so please be patient’ stage of editing and filming….and come to think of it, drawing too.

Hopefully you enjoy seeing these little cute animals as much as we did 🙂

Bye for now,

Tania

A China Travel Video

30th August 2016

I realised today that I haven’t shared our video of our first trip to China on this site (what?!)

I needed to rectify this wrong instantly. I imagine I didn’t share it originally because I was ashamed of my disgustingly cheesy choice of music to accompany the video.

Enjoy a few highlights of our trip to Beijing & Shanghai, where we completely walk passed the forbidden city, almost die on the Great Wall and dance up a storm.
